In October 2004 Adminz faced this issue with their aging MYOB Auroa software. Rather than upgrading Adminz chose to change to Sage Pastel Partner from Passage Software and have never looked back.
Viviene Stephens, the Managing Director of Adminz, says it really wasn't a hard decision to make.  Sage Pastel Partner offered more functionality, more options and was very good value for money.  In fact substantially less than the cost of the upgrade.
